Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Subaru Outback wagon and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class III two inch hitch receiver. Adding the two inch hitch receiver to the back of your Outback is gonna give you a lot of options to haul accessories, whether it be a bike rack or a cargo carrier. Maybe you wanna pull a small trailer. Now if you decide to use this to pull a trailer, you're also gonna wanna look into getting some four pole wiring, which is really nice on the Outback, it's all prepped so you, all you have to do is just plug the wiring harness in and you're ready to use it. This hitch receiver will feature a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna fit a lot of different accessories. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2019 Subaru Outback and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the etrailer class three two inch hitch receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back of your Outback, it's gonna allow you to have different accessories inserted into the hitch. That is bike racks, cargo carriers. There's not a whole lot of room on the inside to haul a bike anywhere, so putting a bike rack on the back will allow you to get several bikes, not just one, towing from the trailhead and hauling a cargo carrier on the back, it's gonna allow you to get some of those bulkier items out of the inside and onto the carrier so that you can fit more people inside for those longer trips. If you're wanting to tow a small trailer with this, it'd be great for the, those two inch ball mounts with the two inch shank that is. more

Now a big reason why you want to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Outback is so that you can haul bike racks or cargo carriers, get a little bit more space outside of the vehicle. The Outback is very difficult if you're trying to fit a bike into the back of it, especially after a long day of riding. You don't wanna put a muddy bike in the back of your car, so you throw that on a bike rack. And with this being a two inch hits receiver, you're gonna have a lot of different options for those bike racks and cargo carriers. more

This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Outback, and it's a nice clean look. We have a hidden hitch essentially, so all that you're gonna see when it's installed is gonna be the two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, as well as the safety chain loop. So you get all the usability of a hitch without having to see it hanging down underneath the vehicle. And being a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening really opens it up for a bunch of different accessories. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver on the 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is this is a hidden cross tube, meaning that the only thing that you're gonna see is the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening. And with that size, that's gonna mean that you have plenty of options available for bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a ball mount if you plan on pulling a trailer. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. Now this is not included with the hitch, but you can pick up a pin and clip, and even a locking version of one here at Etrailer. And that's really nice when you have your accessories loaded up, you can lock it in place, and no one's gonna walk away with it. more

In fact, it just has the receiver tube opening hanging down as it uses the bumper support to mount up the hitch. So you get a nice clean look and a little bit more added ground clearance than having the rest of the hitch hanging down. more

Hey, everybody. How's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver here on a 2022 Subaru Outback. So this is what the trailer hitch looks like installed on our Outback here. And right away, we can see that the only thing is gonna be sticking out is actually gonna be the receiver tube. The cross tube, that bulky cross tube member that attaches either side of the frame bracket is actually hidden behind the bumper here. Therefore, we get the best overall appearance and we're gonna have the most amount of ground clearance with this trailer hitch here. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon- Video
Hey guys, Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon, I'm gonna be installing the Stealth Hidden Hitch Rack Package. This is what our hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. One thing that's gonna set this hitch apart from others out there is, and it's something that I really like about it, is that the other hitches that are available for the Outback wagon, the receiver tubes are not removable. This is actually removable, so when we're not using it, we take this receiver tube off, and it maintains a nice, clean look on the back of the vehicle because our crossbar is completely hidden behind the fascia. And now removing our receiver is very simple, you just wanna make sure it's unlocked. more

So one of the things I really like about the hitch is the way it's going to look, once you have it installed on the back of your Subaru. Since the main portion of the hitch sits behind the bumper, it's going to be pretty much completely hidden. And only thing you're really going to be able to see is the receiver tube opening here. more

Today on our 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer.com Class Three, two inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Many of our Subaru customers use their Outbacks to do a little bit of everything, whether it be pulling a trailer, using an accessory like a bike rack or cargo carrier. This is going to give us a connection point to be able to get the job done and not to mention, since we'll have an opportunity to carry our accessory back here, we're going to have space up top freed up that way we're still able to use any rooftop accessories. One of the things I like about this hitch is that it's going to sit back a little bit behind our bumper and it's going to have a carbide matte black finish, so it's really going to blend in nicely on the back of our Subaru.It's also going to give us some really good clearance and so, what I mean by that is the end of the receiver tube is going to be just about even with our back bumper, so this should work out really well for any folding accessories like a bike rack or a cargo carrier for example. more

Today, in your 2014 Subaru Outback wagon, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer.com's two inch trailer hitch receiver.And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. Our cross tube is going to be visible down beneath our bumper, but it's tucked back nicely so it doesn't really detract from the looks of the vehicle too much. I actually liked the way that our receiver here fits into the cutout on our bumper, and it almost looks like it was supposed to be that way from the factory.It's a class two, two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. Whether you want to put a bike rack in it and load it up with a bunch of bikes, or if you want to bring a pop-up camper with you for the weekend, you should be able to do so with this hitch.This hitch uses a five-eighths inch hitch pin and clip. The crosstube's hidden completely behind our bumper, so the only thing that you're going to be able to see is the receiver tube here at the back. It does stick down and out a little bit so it is noticeable, but it doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much.It's a Class 3 2" by 2" receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you want to take a bike rack, load it up with four bikes, or your camper with you to the cabin for the weekend. Today on our 2018 Subaru Outback wagon, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Curt Class III 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver.Now, one of my favorite things about this hitch is that it's going to be completely hidden, which will maintain that factory look. The only thing you're going to see is the receiver tube opening, and it's still going to be really easy to use, getting our accessories on and off, because how open it is.Now our hitch is going to give us plenty of clearance. The end of our receiver tube is going to be just about flush with our back bumper, and that's going to work really well with those folding accessories. Now with our hitch being a Class III and having that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, the options for hitch-mounted accessories are more or less endless. So whether it be a ball mount, or a bike rack, you're going to be able to find pretty much any accessory that you need.Now the hitch's pinhole is going to be the standard 5/8 size. more

Hitch is going to allow you to move stuff cargo from inside of your vehicle, to the outside, to give you more room for your passengers. As you can see here with our Draw-Tite hitch on our Subaru, most of the hitch is going to be hidden up behind our bumper fascia. It's going to maintain a clean look on the back of the vehicle.
